I had an excellent experience with Excel HVAC. Last night, BGE detected a carbon monoxide leak from my hot water heater and turned off the gas. I immediately made calls to find someone who could come out right away. I spoke with Bruce from Excel, who kindly explained that since the gas was off, it was safe to wait until morning. His warm, consultative approach put me at ease, and I agreed to have him come out the next day. Bruce and his crew arrived first thing in the morning. They quickly identified an issue with the hot water heater's vent pipe and fixed it at no charge. Then, they pointed out two other issues in my house that would need a plumber's attention, again without charging me for the advice. They were in and out in just 15 minutes, leaving me with a lot of peace of mind and clear direction for the next steps. I highly recommend.

The technician, Tyler, came to install the part he determined was needed during his previous service call. It's been tricky to find the communication issue between our new thermostat and the blower. He's been very patient when explaining things, and very professional while working in our home. Lisa, in the office, is always kind and very helpful when I talk with her on the phone.

I contacted Excel HVAC because I was very disappointed with my recent HVAC service with another well known company. Kevin from Excel came out and immediately diagnosed the problem that at least 6 technicians from our prior company were unable to diagnose. Considering the age of the unit, we decided to replace it instead or repairing it. Bruce, the owner of Excel, came out to size the unit and give us a quote. I found the quote very reasonable. Within a few days the equipment was in and a team came out to install the new Trane unit. Kevin, Bruce's son Zack and the rest of the team that did the install were all very professional, neat and very efficient. We are extremely pleased with the result and highly recommend Excel.

The owner of this company is my HERO! He showed me which fuse on my Carrier system needs replacing in a minute after his arrival. He'll return if that's not the fix. I'm grateful for such knowledgeable help at no cost -- thank you, Bruce!

Had problems with our air conditioning. Tyler was the tech who came to the house. He did a thorough exam of the system and determined that a part had failed. He replaced the part and the system was up and running. Tyler was pleasant, very professional and answered all my questions. It was top-notch service.
